The public entity account assistant position is a support role for the underwriting team on the ICRMT Program Administration. ICRMT is a multi-line program insuring Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Law Enforcement Liability, Public Officials Liability, Property, Cyber Liability and Auto Liability/Auto Physical Damage. This team manages 550+ accounts and over $150 million in annual premium with account sizes ranging from $10,000 to over $1,000,000. The position offers an introduction to public entity pooling, alternative risk and self-insurance and requires interaction with various reinsurers and excess carriers.

As an Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing general ledger and accounting functions, compiling accurate financial statements, managing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, providing direct supervision to accounting team members, and handling payroll processing and management.
