Meet the Team

With backgrounds in physical therapy, injury prevention, industrial medicine, and risk management, Brian started in risk management in 1992 designing injury prevention programs for hospitals, municipal organizations, manufacturing, railroads, and healthcare companies.

In 1997, Brian was recruited to help build a risk management program for a new market mono line workers compensation carrier specializing in healthcare and long-term care. In his roles there he was the Branch Manager and supervised underwriting, risk management & loss control team, and TPA.

IPMG’s growth as an industry leading program manager brought Brian together with IPMG in Oct 2004. Brian started with responsibilities for program development, and risk management service delivery to the industries of healthcare, and public entity risk management. Brian has responsibility for service delivery, development, and administration to over 500 public entity clients in Illinois and manages a team of subject matter experts and specialists that operate field services to IPMG clients.

Brian has presented as a keynote speaker to national & state associations in the fields of public entity and healthcare risk management. He has worked with several pools across the country for training and presenting on novel risk management services and solutions. His current position is Senior Vice President of Risk Management Services for IPMG.
